Work Uniform

As a health care provider, I am always searching for comfortable, professional, low maintenance clothing.  I have a tendency to overheat easily. Which has become exaggerated the last few months due to wearing a mask 7-8 hours at the office (who knew a face mask could make you sweat so much!).

So, I basically end up wearing the same thing every day- black pants, a sleeveless top, and my white lab coat.

I have concluded that all I need is a really crisp, tailored, white lab coat to use as a cover up. No one will really see what I am wearing underneath anyways.  Therefore, I have been on a search for the perfect white coat that breathes well, looks professional, and isn’t too hot.

I was curious if I could tell a difference between my usual inexpensive, generic coat and a higher end, white coat. In the name of research, I ordered a Medelita Rebecca Coat (FYI I have no affiliation or financial interest with this company). Let me tell you, it has been a game changer. I can literally be wearing last night’s pajamas underneath. Yet when I wear my fancy new coat, I look instantly polished.
