Holiday Cheer

Seems like every year, once Halloween passes, time fast forwards to the end of the year. Temperatures have abruptly dropped to the 50s, which is basically freezing for this Southern Californian. I suddenly crave hot chocolate and feel motivated to put away my shorts and tank tops.

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, then Christmas. At the office, this season is our busiest. A mad rush to find enough appointments for all the patients that need to be seen before the end of the year.

What will celebrations look like this year, I wonder? COVID is still looming in the foreground of our lives. This pandemic has robbed us all of the gift of time. It has been a year filled with so much uncertainty. I sincerely hope this holiday we can all find a way to safely connect with our families and loved ones.
