Goldilocks
I have been researching orthodontists for my daughter. First of all, I didn't realize how expensive braces are! Secondly, this search for the "perfect" orthodontist has enlightened me on how important it is for my own staff and office (and myself) to make a good impression on my patients.
It's interesting to be on the other side, being a patient rather than practitioner. The first orthodontist we went to was very aggressive. I felt like she was trying to scare me, and she made everything seem so urgent and dire. Yesterday, we had a consultation with another orthodontist. His receptionist was kind and helpful. The office was clean and welcoming. The doctor was matter of fact, but seemed knowledgeable, caring and patient. In other words, his office accomplished what I strive for. Like the story of Goldilocks, his office was just right.
