Road Rage

There is a dormant rage that lurks hidden in all of our hearts. Nothing brings this ugly part of our personality more to light than being stuck in the drive-up line for 45 minutes, late on the first day of school. It’s sad to see how quickly common courtesy and civility is lost when confronted with over 1000 students trying to drive to school from a single lane entrance.

This year I have two kids at two different schools. That means two crazy, chaotic pick ups and drop offs. Let’s all take a deep breath, drive safely, and remember that our kids are watching us and learning how to behave when faced with stressful situations.
